Eating dried fruit, drinking tainted coffee, and listening to Bon Iver. As well as writing short fictions on Xmas day, the Loop is quiet than usual and I'm taking the advantage... but I'm still hearing a not so good sax player on State Street. I want to find him and punch him in the face. All is well in Chicago. The apricots I'm consuming reminds me of a few special days shared with a special someone. I hope all is well with her. I feel that she is. It seems as though she's teaching nonstop. Aw, what a role model and good friend. I miss you, dearest.

Three years ago, her and I got it on. Today, new media is seducing me via Adobe PS5, Final Cut, & Audacity. I think I found my new fuck buddies.

I'm having a new taste of fooling around with video and audio art. 4D works. I'm gonna dabble a bit with them.

The jumbo fly related to the Core theme, "Jumbo Shrimp". There is somewhat of a "gross" and hilarious feeling within the piece. It could be the yellow hue laid on top of the paper or the ideal of a giant dirty fly above a city. The city in the lower part of the piece has a dreary aspect within the charcoal wash. It is not Chicago but Nashville. Earlier this year, the city of Nashville flooded and killed 8 to 10 people. It destroyed a bit of interior space and other things. With that fact, the work may seem a little bit more in the anti-funny side. You can decide how you feel about the fly.

my recent art!

The first 3 works posted are of my Core work for the theme "Jumbo Shrimp"
This is one of my first paintings from painting class. It has a Pink Flamingos vibe into it. That's what I hear.
Another painting project. I didn't like painting it at first because it was boring but I put color into it. It will suffice.

This is my self-portrait for the first week of my English class. The class is called "Art of Crossing the Street". I recommend people taking the class if they have the chance.
Found my Halloween soul mate. It was nice.

semi-poetry/journal entry for the Sunday A.M.

Waking up by 7am on a Sunday morning never felt better while she's sleeping in my bed. She sometimes spasm within her dreams onto my sheets like she withdrawal from heroin. After lingering around and tucking her in by 9am, I decide to ride my bike to the nearest Caribou coffee shop... just to get away. Delicious pink colored coffee that tastes like sex. Enjoying it.
I'm sitting in the cafe and contemplating my whole Sunday schedule. How will my night consist of? Why are all these people staring at me? Am I an alien? I think I got hit on by the butchy looking espresso maker. What a good morning in Chicago.

This young lady turned 18 on Thursday. We went everywhere together last night. It made me feel 18 again. In 15 more days I'll turn 20. Oh shit. I'm in but not there yet.
Things I do to feed the mind. I made soup the other day and it was rockin' amazing.

Standing on water above the fish.

Thursday, September 16, 2010

So I went on a field trip for english class to the south side close to University of Chicago. We discovered this place called "Experimental Station" It's a social gathering type of ordeal and it is amazing. I want to go back and volunteer in the bike shop. There's more information about the place online. For sure I hear google is the spot. They have their own website.. it ends with an org. Yoiu guys should check it out. If you are currently living in Chicago, go with a friend. It's the shit! I wish I could tell you more about 'Experimental Station' but I must run. Computer class starts in 5 minutes. I hate the elevators but love em at the same time. eh!

My 1st saic wired computer assignment. It's shitty.

It was based on a Schiele piece.

So this week has been great. I went to two different field trips around the outskirts of Chicago. I have to think of plan A, B, C, and maybe D for Research Studio on what I want to work with about infrastructure of this city. Do I want to build up a dead school boy on the dirty sidewalk in the South side? Do I want to work with the history of buildings that is no longer here? Do I work with the lake and moving bridges? I gotta be fierce about this.

Other than Research Studio I, I have to write a two page paper about Ken Dunn and sustainability. Oh dear. It's hammer time!

Missed our first big after party :/

So earlier this summer, the set of Transformer 3 shut down Michigan Avenue to shoot a few scenes of destruction. Last night, the cast and crew celebrated the wrap up party in Chicago. It was an open bar for the public and we fucking missed it! Ehh.

Other than that unfortunate news, I'm getting use to where everything is. I'll be getting my Upass which allows me to use the L train. Chicago is big, my friend and I can't wait to mingle.

I'M PRETTY MUCH DONE COUNTING DOWN:

Making chocolate didn't work.

Sunday, August 22, 2010

A bucket of quarters.. the good kind of change.

I had to roll these quarters up this morning. It took me about a little after an hour. The end result was a rounding of $478.00.
This will be part of the gas money fund for our trip to Rockford and Chicago. Damn red pussy wagon. Old trucks die hard.

DAY 6: wet.

It wasn't the kind of rainy day where you could walk around bare foot. Okay, it was acceptable earlier. What's wrong with the sudden weather change in the South? Stick to one thing.

"Oh, it's after 12. Time to check the penis."

Recently, the most exciting thing to do is checking my mail. I'm not into penis but this detailed shaped mailbox is an exception. My pops made it when I left for Governor's school back in 2008. This mailbox has value so if it's ever torn down, I will furiously blow! No pun intended.

DAY 11: Looking at the recent days

Comfortable Sunday afternoon.
What I'm going to bring for school. Heavy.
Should finish this book before I take the little trip.
What I saw when I woke up after the party. Oh childrens.
Talon with cum shot hair.
Young pussies.
Piss excellence of a dog!

DAY 14: Party. Party. Party.

The anticipation is killing us all! One of my roommates just can't wait to show me around the city. I'm thankful for having super attractive roommates, attending the greatest art school in the world, friends and family who support, and over all nothing heavy on my shoulders that could weigh me down.

Thursday, August 12, 2010

DAY 16:

I'm looking for job openings as we speak. I hope I get it... whatever it is.

Thursday, August 5, 2010

DAY 22: 3 more weeks

I got my school hoodie and I'm ready to flaunt it out.. indoors.

Sunday, August 1, 2010

DAY 26:

I am now editing most of what I'm packing for school. I think I'm gonna bring lesser things next time. The extra stuff, you'll never know what you'll need for the 1st year. I'm realizing that my school system is a little bit different than what my sister had to go through. I feel like I'm on my own but I know I'm not in a sense.
I am so looking forward for the 1st official day of classes :) The second step after moving in on the 28th is figuring out how to use the CTA.

And I really had to pee this morning.

DAY 38: face the real world and do everything by yourself now.

My first big job I ever had was painting a huge ass mural for a promotion of Shrek 2 on the Carmike Cinemas front windows. I was 13 at the time. I had a blast. This mini Shrek toy I found in a French candy called Kinder Joy really brightened my day.

DAY 41: Try a French style breakfast. Cheap and filling.
